1. Overview
1.1 Function introduction
Video helps you add video elements to your dashboard. This includes web video and live monitoring.
➢Note:
Use of this component requires the purchase a Vivid Show license .
1.2 Application scenario
Add videos to dashboards, set  video playback, format, etc.
2. Step
1)Add a video component and a drop-down list filter component to the canvas, and bind address to the video component's video and drop-down list filter component.
The video address can be customized in addition to the bound address column, refer to Video > Function > Custom Address for details.
2)Select Video component to set video and play setting.
a)Click the drop-down arrow in front of the video to expand the video settings and set the video presentation method to "Fill".
b)Click the drop-down arrow in front of Playback Settings to expand Playback Settings, set the default volume to 50%, and check "Download before play", "Show control bar", and "Auto play".
3)Save dashboard, click the "Save" button on the upper right corner of the page, and set the file name in the Save dialog . For more information about dashboard saving, please refer to Dashboard Operation and Setting > Save, Save As, Auto Save.
4)Preview or view dashboard, you can select the video to play in the drop-down list filter component, or you can directly switch the previous or next video to play on the control bar.
3. Function
3.1 Custom address
[Custom Address] In addition to the bound address column, you can also customize the address, click the "Custom Address" button in the data area to define the address in the pop-up window.
[Add] Click the " Add" button on the right side, and enter the video address and remarks information in the value and remarks.
[Delete] Select the data row and click the " Delete" button to delete the entered address.
[Move Up / Move Down] Select the data row and click Move Up or Move Down to change the up and down position of the address.
3.2 Video
[Video Types] Includes web video and real-time monitor. Network video supports webm, mp4, mov, ogg, flv formats, and real-time monitoring supports HLS protocol. If it is a local video, it is recommended that users upload the video file to the cloud server first, and then get the address of the video file.
【Display Form】Including zoom and fill. Zoom means stretching the video according to the size of the video component, so that the video completely fills the component. Fill refers to scaling the video according to the size of the component in an equal ratio, the maximum side of the video is enlarged to the smallest side of the component and then no longer enlarged, which can maintain the ratio of the video while maximizing the display of the video.
3.3 Play setting
[Default Volume] Adjust the default volume, the range is 0 ~ 100, the default is 0, i.e. mute.
[Download before playing] Unchecked by default, the video will be played while it is downloaded; checked, the video will be played after it is completely downloaded.
[Show Control Bar] Show playback control bar, including play, pause, previous, next, progress bar, time, full screen, volume, unchecked by default; when checked, it will be shown and displayed when editing the dashboard, but not clickable.
[Auto Play] Whether to play automatically when the dashboard is loaded, unchecked by default.
[Loop] When there are multiple videos, after the component finishes playing the current video, it controls the automatic playback of the next video until the last one finishes playing and then loops the playback from the first video. When there is only one video, control whether to automatically replay the video after it finishes playing. Not checked by default. Data refresh requires restarting playback.
[Interval] The loop playback interval for real-time monitoring.
4. Others
The video component is supported by the Super Member on Desktop, but not by the Ordinary Member.
