When the user's password does not comply with the password rules, a pop-up box will be displayed to indicate that the password check does not pass, as shown in the following figure:
Click Change Password to bring up a prompt box to change the password. Enter the old password, new password and confirm the password respectively, and click Save to change the user's password.
If the user does not want to check for weak passwords, this can be done by changing the parameter prompt.weak.pwd=false in bi.properties.
2. Timeout during use after logging in to the product
In order to protect users' data security and reduce the pressure on the server, when no operation is performed for a long period of time after logging in, the system will log in timeout and you need to log in again to continue to use it.
Timeout during use after logging into the product means that after logging in and not operating the system for a long period of time, the system enters the login timeout state when the set timeout time is reached.
When the login times out, you will need to re-enter your username and password to continue, and any dashboards that you did not have time to save before the timeout will pop up in the form of a dialog box with the option to restore them, as detailed in Autosave below.
You can modify the login timeout by modifying the parameter values in the bi.properties file. For example, to change the login timeout to 10 minutes, you need to add a line in the bi.properties file, secure.session.timeout=600000, and then restart the product.
When the system enters the login timeout state, continuing to operate the product prompts the login expiration.
After clicking OK, you will be taken to the login home page, where you can re-enter your user name and password to log in.
3. Excessive timeout on login page
If the login page is left for a long period of time, the default is 1 minute, you need to re-enter your username and password to log on.
The login page placement time can be configured with the property login.page.expire.time. The default value is 60000 in milliseconds. login.page.expire.time=60000, i.e., if the login page is not logged in for one minute, and you log in again, you need to re-enter your username and password to log in.
