Users can directly view the metadata information bound in each chart when making dashboards. 2. Switch data mode You can directly select the metadata in the data mode on the top toolbar of the dashboard, and the default is sample data. •Display of different data types in different modes oSample Data: oMetadata Metadata display for text types (character, string): "x"/"xxxxxxxxxx" Metadata for datetime types (date, time, timestamp) shows: current time Metadata for boolean types shows: true Metadata for numeric types (byte, integer, short, long, float, double) shows: 99/999/999.99 •Display of graph axes in different modes oSample data oMetadata Axes bound to numeric data are displayed in metadata mode: 0-1000. Pie chart metadata mode are displayed as: 100%. 3. Merge cells in metadata After the table and pivot component enters the metadata mode, you can Merge Cells by selecting multiple cells and right clicking on them. 4. Highlight in Metadata Mode In the metadata mode, the highlighted cells in the table, pivot, and freestyle table components can be quickly opened by clicking the highlight icon in the lower left corner.
