1. Overview 1.1 Application Scenario After you create and save a dashboard, if you want external users to view the dashboard, you can share the dashboard publicly to others. The person being shared can click the link and scan the QR code to open the dashboard without deploying and downloading. ➢Note: To use the public sharing feature, you need to purchase Y+Collaboration license .
2. Function Introduction
2.1 Public Share 1)Dashboards can be shared publicly in several ways. •You can select the dashboard you want to share on the dashboard management dashboard where you make and view dashboard, and then click More > Public Share. •When you preview or view dashboard, click Share public on the toolbar at the top of the dashboard. 2)In Public Share dialog box, click Public Share switch.
•Encrypt Share: After checking the box, you can set a password for the dashboard, which supports upper and lower case letters and numbers, and the length of the password ranges from 4 to 8 digits. The system will generate a 4-digit password (letter + number combination) by default. •Set Expiration Period: After checking, you can set the expiration time for the publicly shared dashboard link, and the date 7 days after the current date will be selected by default. If not checked, the dashboard will be valid for a long time. •Copy Link: You can copy the dashboard link after clicking the link. •Open Link: Click the link to open the dashboard in a new tab. •QR Code Share: use the scanning function to open the dashboard in WeChat, browser and other apps on mobile devices.
2.2 View Public Share Share the link of the publicly shared dashboard and the QR code of the dashboard to social platforms, forums, etc. Users can open the dashboard by clicking the dashboard link and scanning the QR code of the dashboard.
If the public share dashboard is encrypted, you need to enter the password before opening the dashboard.
2.3 Cancel Public Share In Public Share dialog, click Public Share switch.
When you open the link or scan the QR code of a publicly shared dashboard, tip "The dashboard has been closed for sharing or does not exist".
3.Other Description Dashboards in My dashboards, From Sharing, Favorite Folders, and Dashboards cannot be shared.
