1. Create a new data connection 1)Click Add Connection in the left navigation to enter the connection page. 2)Click the icon on the top left to enter the new connection page. 3)Select the required connection type on the new connection page to enter the connection configuration page.
➢Note: hover the mouse over the connection area, and the corresponding connection will display a collection icon below it. Click the favorite icon to add the connection to the common connection. Common connections are displayed in the upper area of the connection.
2. Connection management Existing connections and drivers can be managed through the connection resource tree on the left side of the connection interface. Refer to Connection Management for details.
3. Connection toolbar The connection toolbar is provided at the top of the opened connection configuration interface. Each function in the toolbar is as follows:
Function Item | Specific functions | Edit Parameter/Refresh Parameter | Refer to Edit and Refresh Parameter for details | Setting ->Note | Add notes to the connection, refer to the Notes section. | New Data set | Save the connection directly and jump to the corresponding Create Dataset page of the selected connection. | Test connection | Click after configuring properties to test whether the connection is available. | Save | Save the current connection (if it is a new connection, you need to select the path to save it) | Save As | Click Save As under More to save the current connection to the target path |
4. Connection Configuration Attributes
The functions of the connection configuration attribute interface are as follows:
Ribbon | Explain | Select Connection | The connection type selected by the user on the new connection page. | Connection Settings | Configure the basic properties of the connection. | Advanced Settings | Click Expand to configure the advanced properties of the connection. | Check Box | If checked, it is only visible to users with write permission. |
5. Connection Tab The product supports the configuration of opening multiple connections. Users can switch between different pages through the tabs at the bottom of the connection configuration page to complete connection related configuration. After configuration, the user can click to close the currently opened connection configuration page; You can also click once to close all connection configuration pages.  |
