1. Overview In order to ensure that the product versions of Desktop and Server are consistent or Desktop can be updated to the latest version in time. Now Desktop has added version checking and server connection checking. 1.1 Version updated calibration •When Desktop has not been connected to the Server and can access the extranet, after Desktop releases the latest version, there will be a small red dot on the version update icon, and users need to choose whether to update to the latest version. •When the version of Server is higher than the version of Desktop under the condition that Desktop has been connected to Server and can access Server, there will be a small red dot on the icon of version update, and it is recommended that users upgrade Desktop to ensure that the product versions of Desktop and Server are consistent. 1.2 Connecting to server validation •When the Desktop and Server versions are the same, connecting to the server can connect successfully. •When Desktop is lower than the Server version, the following message is prompted when connecting to the server. It is recommended that users upgrade Desktop to ensure that the product versions of Desktop and Server are consistent. Select "Yes" and Desktop will be updated automatically. •When the Desktop is higher than the Server version, the following is prompted when connecting to the server. Users are advised to download and reinstall the same version of Desktop from the server. ➢Note: These two verification methods are only applicable to small version verification, please download and install the corresponding version of Desktop again for large version upgrade. •When configured to require a graphic/mobile/email verification code and Desktop is a version prior to 10.0, users are advised to update Desktop to the latest version before connecting. •When configured to require a graphic/cell phone/email verification code, and Desktop is version 10.0 or later, the following message is prompted when connecting to the server. Enter the verification code and click Connect to connect successfully.
